In a country where we celebrate every stage of our life right from birth to important milestones and not to mention elements like ‘bad hair day’ (just kidding), we tend to forget that trusted recruiter who gave us an opportunity to make our mark in the corporate world. Most importantly the recruiter fraternity themselves underplay their role. If we can impact the lives of so many people, if we can navigate the career path for so many people, then why can’t we take a moment to celebrate what we do – recruit.

It is this very thought that has lead to the creation of ‘Recruiter’s day’. It was instituted last year and falls on March 9th. This year it falls on a Sunday but that has not dampened our spirits to celebrate this event. At EmmayHR we have planned two day festivities. Testimonials by colleagues on why they are proud to be a recruiter (in the form of posters) is put up across all our offices pan India. Each one of us is proudly wearing a batch which say ‘I Recruit’, especially designed graffiti boards are put up in all offices where colleagues are citing their reasons for choosing to be a recruiter. The best entry stands to win a prize.

The best reason cited or copy may win an award but the common consensus that each one of us have arrived at is the fact that we are indeed ‘proud to be a recruiter as we impact lives’.
